TE's Raychem Materials Science delivers a lighter, smaller solution for Topside control applications – Less is more TE’s C-Lite 105 and C-Lite 90 cables use advanced insulation and jacket material technology to reduce the size and weight of cables — without reducing the electrical or mechanical properties of the cable. Our C-Lite solution typically offers a cable that is 30% smaller and lighter than traditional cables. This allows more densely populated installations on cable trays designed for traditional cable products and in new designs with deck space and footprint becoming more important allows for the use of smaller cable trays. Offered in two jacket options, one rated to 120°C with an SHF2 /NEK606 compliant insulation system for use work areas and an SHF-1 jacketed solution for use in non-work areas. The C-Lite cable family is available in three base configurations, standard, armored and fire resistant, with all three families offered utilising flame retardant jackets which generate low smoke, and have a low toxicity index and reduced corrosive gas emissions in the event of a fire.
Surface Mount Resistors
A surface mount resistor is a tiny rectangular ceramic body with silver conductive edges on either end. They provide the same functionality as the more traditional axially leaded resistors but has a lower power dissipation capacity and oftentimes a lower stray inductance and capacity.

Through-Hole Resistors
A through-hole resistor is a fixed resistor that has long, pliable leads that can be stuck into a breadboard or hand- or wave-soldered into a printed circuit board. A through-hole resistor is used to reduce the flow of electrical current within a circuit. It’s commonly composed of carbon film, metal film, metal oxide film, thick film, or wirewound.

TE’s C-Lite FR range of cables. Fire resistant. Meets IEC60331-1/2 delivering circuit integrity in a fire situation for up to 120 minutes at a temperature of 1000°C. Standard and armored styles; multi-core, multi-pair & multi-triple configurations.
Chassis Mount Resistors
A chassis mount resistor is designed to promote heat loss and cooling. This resistor is manufactured using wirewound resistor technology and features a ceramic core that is molded into an extruded aluminum chassis mount housing.
Trimmer Resistors
A trimmer resistor is a type of variable resistor or adjustable potentiometer that can adjust, tune, and calibrate circuits. It is meant to never be seen or adjusted by the device’s user.
Potentiometers
A potentiometer is a manually adjustable variable resistor that allows you to change and regulate the current flowing through a resistor.
